Dr. Arias Urdaneta diagnoses and treats a variety of rheumatologic conditions, considering patient preferences and the latest clinical evidence to achieve optimal outcomes. His personal values of honesty and integrity provide the foundation for his care.

Before co-founding Miami Shores Medical Group, he earned his medical degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Escuela de Medicina Luis Razetti, in Caracas, then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, in Miami Beach, where he served as chief resident and won the American College of Physicians Chief Resident of the Year award. He completed his rheumatology fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital, in Boston.
